Central signed not only the biggest class in the MAC in terms of recruits but also the best according to this publication. Almost two-thirds of these players committed early to Central Michigan and many still stayed the course and committed to the ‘Chips even after receiving offers from BCS programs. All 13 players from Michigan were ranked among the top 50 players in the state and a total of nineteen players listed helped lead their high school teams to conference, state or some sort of postseason appearance. The four Maryland recruits are all very impressive. This is the type of class that really kicks a good program to an even higher level. For Central fans, this has to be considered one of their very best recruiting efforts in a few decades. Overall this class rates as OUTSTANDING compared to other MAC schools.
