Final Analysis Toledo signed an incredible collection of wide receivers and most of their skilled players come in very highly rated. Several of the WR and DBs listed will likely play early and often in their career. Still, Toledo did not do a good job at filling their most glaring needs, which are DT and ILB. UT was one of the worst defenses in the county last year, especially against the run. The players brought in will help the Rockets in the future, but look for UT to have a lot of 56-49 games over the next few seasons with so little help brought into the interior defensive trenches. Overall this class rates as VERY GOOD.
Of Note: On national signing day, RB Ty Jones from Tampa, who had given a verbal to UT, opted out and signed with Florida State… Terrell Anderson of Pittsburgh Central Catholic led his team to a #11 national ranking (USAToday)…Danny Farr is the #33 defensive tackle in the nation by Scout.com and the #19 player in the Chicago area by the Chicago Tribune.
