2006 MAC Football Recruiting Preview

Below is a quick look at the progress of the 2006 MAC football recruiting for all twelve teams. With the national signing date coming up in the next few weeks on February 1st, there will be a lot of movement and commitments that will become published. With no major recruiting outlet that focuses on the MAC, below is a compilation of several published sources, recruiting services, newspaper articles, along with discussions I have had with high school and college coaches. Please note that most of these student athletes are in their late teens and several factors can and will influence how well they perform in college.

In mid-February this publication will once again publish the most in-depth MAC football recruiting analysis anywhere. This data is used by several preseason college magazines including Athlon Sports. Over the past four years, each MAC Freshman of the Year Award winner has been ranked in my incoming “MAC’s Top-20.”
