Notes: Ball State beat Central Michigan 41-30...With 233 yards on the ground, Ball State topped the 200-yard rushing mark as a team for the fourth time in eight games this season...RB Jahwan Edwards rushed for 128 yards his third 100-yard game this season and the fifth of his two-year career. Army lost 48-38 at Eastern Michigan...Army has lost seven straight
games against MAC opponents...Senior QB Trent Steelman’s 75-yard touchdown run was the longest of his career, and the longest by an Army player since Collin Mooney went 81 yards vs. Buffalo, 2008...Steelman ran 16 times for 212 yards to break the Army single-game record for rushing yards by a quarterback.

Notes: Northern Illinois beat Akron 37-7...Northern Illinois has won six straight road games, also won 12 straight games vs. MAC foes and won 16 of its last 17 games...QB Jordan Lynch surpassed the 1,000-yard mark in rushing on the first drive of the second half...Northern Illinois has now had a player rush for 1,000 yards in 13 times in the last 14 seasons. Western Michigan fell 41-24 at Kent State...QB Tyler Van Tubbergen threw for 333 yards on 30-of-57 passing, all career highs...WR Josh Schaffer had a career high nine grabs for 151 yards, including an 81-yard TD catch on the Broncos’ second drive of the game...It was the fifth longest one-play drive in WMU history and the Broncos third one-play drive of 2012.

Central Michigan lost 41-30 to Ball State...With 7 catches vs. Ball State, senior WR Cody Wilson moved into sole possession of third place on the CMU receptions list (199)...Wilson extended his consecutive games with a catch streak to 36 games. He entered the game tied with West Virginia’s Tavon Austin for the third longest streak in the NCAA.

time since 1973 and only the third time since 1940...Defense forced four fumbles and two interceptions, raising its season turnover margin to plus-14...The second time this year the Flashes forced six turnovers at home...RB Trayion Durham had a career-high 124 yards rushing, his third 100-yard rushing game of the season. Rutgers beat Temple 35-10...Rutgers head coach Kyle Flood became the first Rutgers head coach in school history to start his career 7-0...Sophomore QB Gary Nova was 17-of-27 passing for 232 yards and four touchdowns, all four scoring passes in the second half...Rutgers allowed just 191 yards of total offense vs. Temple – the second-lowest amount of the year.
