Week #2 proved to be an exciting and successful one for MAC football, and no one player shined in Week #2 more than Ohio Bobcat CB Dion Byrum. A record crowd of 24,545 and millions viewing the ESPN2 broadcast from Athens witnessed Byrum picking off first half pass and returning it for a 38 yard touchdown. Then, on Pitt's possession in the overtime period Byrum picked off yet another pass and streaked down the sideline 85 yards for the game-winning touchdown as the Bobcats defeated Pitt 16-10 in OT.
