Toledo QB Aaron Opelt named National Player of the Week
September 14, 2009 -- The College Football Performance Awards announced Toledo quarterback Aaron Opelt as the National Performer of the Week. Michael Floyd, the National Performer of the Week for week one, received Honorable Mention for the Wide Receiver Trophy this week. OklahomaStatewide receiver Dez Bryant, the recipient of the 2008 Wide Receiver Trophy, shared Punt Returner Performer of the Week with Louisiana Tech's Phillip Livas and Georgia Tech's Jerrard Tarrant - all 3 performers registered punt returns over 80 yards for touchdowns.
