MAC Gridiron Preview Show Saturday on FSN Ohio

CLEVELAND – Since 1946 Mid-American Conference football has entertained college gridiron fans across the nation and an inside look at season 62 debuts Saturday, August 23, as the 2008 MAC Gridiron Preview Show airs on FOX Sports Net Ohio at 5 p.m., ET.

Hosted by veteran sportscasters Michael Reghi and Jeff Phelps, this year’s show is presented in an interactive format and was filmed at the league’s media day in July at Detroit’s Ford Field. This marks the sixth consecutive year FSN Ohio has produced an in depth preseason look at the upcoming MAC season.

In addition to the August 23, 5 p.m. time slot, the show will air again on FSN Ohio on the following dates and times:

Sunday, August 24 at 1 p.m.
Monday, August 25 at 1 p.m.
Wednesday, August 27 at 11 p.m.
Thursday, August 28 at 1 p.m.

The one-hour show will also be aired on FOX Sports Net Detroit, Comcast Sports Net Chicago and Time Warner Cable/Western NY, with MAC fans in those areas asked to check their local listings for dates and times.

The MAC regular season will kickoff on the field on Thursday, August 28 with five games, headlined by Miami hosting SEC foe Vanderbilt on ESPNU HD. The season concludes December 5 with the Marathon MAC Championship game at Ford Field in Detroit.
