2005-06 Potential “Statement” Games for MAC Basketball

Each football and basketball season the Mid-American Conference schedule features a handful of games in which MAC fans like me think “now there is a chance for the MAC to make a statement.” Since basketball season has three times as many Out-Of-Conference games as the football season, I thought I would help out all of you MAC basketball fans by telling you which games to mark down in your calendar. These match-ups feature a MAC school facing well-known basketball programs or teams from “major” conferences. The way I see it, if a MAC school beats a “major” conference school, even a mediocre one, it’s still impressive in my book. Now I’m not going to get into depth on these specific match-ups because we will be releasing our MAC b-ball preview very soon and your time is valuable. This is just a quick rundown of the games that you are not going to want to miss during this year’s MAC OOC schedule.
