#1 - Ohio

2-0

1

36

Solid so far, but they have yet to be tested.

#2 - Miami

3-1

2

32

Defeated Wright State and Central Michigan this week. The RedHawks play @ Oakland before hosting Xavier next Sunday. Charlie has another young Miami team playing well.

#3 - Akron

2-1

3

31

Loss @ Cal is not a bad one. The Zips play Denison and @ #6 Louisville this week.

#4 - Buffalo

6-1

4

26

The Bulls are continuing to win the games they should win. Saturday's game vs. Rutgers in Buffalo will be a real test for this team.

#5 - Northern Illinois

3-1

9

25

Huge jump for the Huskies this week as they defeated DePaul at home and beat Toledo on the road for a big MAC win.

#6 - Kent State

4-2

8

21

Wins over YSU and CSU this week were expected but not easy. Saturday's game @ Southern Illinois will tell us a lot about the Golden Flashes.

#7 - Toledo

3-2

6

17

A loss to Northern Illinois at home is not a good start to MAC play for the Rockets.

#8 - Ball State

2-1

5

14

The most important loss of the season for BSU is the loss of Peyton Stovall.

#9 - Bowling Green

2-4

10

10

Losses to Oakland and Bradley hurt, but BG should improve when their best player, Steven Wright, comes back later in the month. Interesting piece of information; BG beat Virginia Tech. On Sunday Va Tech led #1 Duke with under 5 seconds to play only to lose on a buzzer-beater from half-court...

#10 - Western Michigan

1-3

11

9

Early growing pains continued this week for the Broncos. It would be great to see this young team beat IUPUI on Saturday and gain some much-needed confidence.

#11 - Eastern Michigan

1-3

7

8

Eastern has been feisty this season with a win over Cal and a close loss to Detroit. Wednesday @ YSU will be interesting.

#12 - Central Michigan

1-4

12

4

A loss to Cleveland State is just bad, any way you slice it. Hopefully the Rose Rowdies will show up on Saturday to help cheer the 'Chips to a win over Rochester.
