#1 - Kent State (3)

17-7
11-2

RPI #98 - Despite their 2 losses coming to lower-ranked MAC teams, the head-to-head W over Akron keeps Kent in the #1 spot. Their March 4th match-up @ the JAR may be for more than just the VanDelay #1 spot...

#2 - Akron

18-5
11-2

RPI #70 - They had another solid week, but had two of the easier matchups. Either way they're closing in on Kent again, and are preparing for their shot at them at the JAR in a couple of weeks.

#3 - Miami

13-8
10-3

RPI #90 - Another solid week for the RedHawks capped off by a 2OT thriller win against Ball State.

#4 - Ohio

14-7
8-5

RPI #110 - A loss @ WMU was filled with poor shooting and blown opportunities. Bobcat fans have to be hoping that Miami's 2OT win on Sunday has them worn out for Wednesday's match-up in Oxford.

#5 - Northern Illinois

13-9
8-6

4t

24

RPI #117 - Two losses to top 4 MAC teams do not make a bad week, but it shows, yet again, the superiority of the MAC East this season.

#6 - Western Michigan

10-13
7-6

RPI #164 - The Broncos held serve at home against Ohio, but lost on the road. They are still within striking distance of a bye to Cleveland.

#7 - Buffalo

16-8
6-7

RPI #128 - Bounced back nicely with a win @ CMU, but the Bulls will have their hands full with Kent coming to town on Wednesday.

#8 - Toledo

13-9
6-8

RPI #168 - Finally starting to play up to their potential. The Rockets are 7-1 OOC and play Saturday @ Detroit.

#9 - Bowling Green

9-14
5-8

8

11

RPI #235 - The Falcons are bringing up the rear of the East and the upcoming schedule won't help them get out of the basement.

#10 - Ball State

8-13
4-9

10

10

RPI #219 - The Cardinals beat Buffalo and barely lost at Miami this week. Tim Buckley's squad needs to get over the hump and pull out some of those close games on the road.

#11 - Eastern Michigan

5-16
2-11

11

6

RPI #302 - The Eagles continued to have some moral victories, keeping it close at Bowling Green and at home to Akron. Moral victories don't do much for the standings or the RPI.

#12 - Central Michigan

3-18
1-12

12

3

RPI #300 - The match-up with Morehead State should be a barnburner as two teams with similar record will face off. This is just a game where the rest of the MAC hopes that CMU can pickup a OOC win to help the RPI.
