RPI #71 - Great week for the Bobcats with 2 home wins. Total domination of Western Michigan and then a win against Ball State even though the Bobcats didn't have their A game with them.

#2 - Buffalo

1-1

RPI #53 - The Bulls got their second loss of the season, losing to on the road by 2 in OT to Northern Illinois. Hardly a loss that's going to make anyone start writing off Buffalo.

#3 - Akron

8-3
2-0

RPI #76 - The Zips have been strong in early MAC play. They hung on to hang an L on Ball State on the road, and they manhandled UT at home this weekend. The Zips are looking like a force in the East.

#4 - Miami

RPI #87 - The RedHawks have impressed jumping out to a 3-0 start in the MAC.

#5 - Northern Illinois

RPI #56 - They already have one loss in the MAC, but they have an impressive RPI, and managed to beat one of the MAC's top squads, Buffalo, without their best player, Mike McKinney.

#6 - Kent State

8-5
2-0

RPI #150 - The Golden Flashes have jumped 40 spots in the RPI in a week after wins over Toledo and CMU. Isn't it just typical MAC basketball that perennial contenders Miami and Kent decide to show up and beat up on the rest of the league?

#7 - Toledo

7-4
0-3

5

17

RPI #138 - The Rockets continue to slide down the rankings as their team has looked listless of late. Toledo already has 3 losses in the MAC, the way they're playing right now, Central has to be hoping they come to town so they can get a shot at their 3rd win of the season.

#8 - Ball State

4-6
0-2

RPI #136 - The Cardinals had Akron and Ohio with their backs to the wall in the 2nd half of games this week, but endured scoring slumps and couldn't hang on for either of the W's.

#9 - Western Michigan

4-8
1-1

RPI #224 - The Broncos fell on their faces in Athens this week, but showed they're still a notch above the basement in this conference with their manhandling of Bowling Green.

#10 - Bowling Green

5-7
1-1

RPI #267 - 1-1 in the MAC with a blowout win over terrible Central Michigan and a blowout loss to Western Michigan.

#11 - Eastern Michigan

3-7
0-2

11

5

RPI #264 - An overtime loss to Miami and Central Michigan's ongoing ineptness keeps them out of the cellar.

#12 - Central Michigan

2-9
0-2

12

4

RPI #320 - Jumped 2 spots in the RPI in the past week. It's hard to believe that there are any teams playing worse than Jay Smith has the Chippewas playing right now.
