#1 - Buffalo (2)	10-1	1	35	RPI #72 - At first glance a 5 point win @ 2-10 Delaware State causes worry. After looking at DSU's tough schedule and #99 RPI rank, the Bulls should be very pleased to enter MAC play at 10-1.

#2 - Ohio (1)	6-2	4	33	RPI #51 - Two Ohio losses on the season are the the RPI #22 and #14 teams. The Bobcats led Kentucky almost the entire game Friday night and proved they really can hang with almost any team in the country. Now they just need to live up to expectations in conference play.

#3 - Akron	6-3	2t	30	RPI #95 - The Zips enter MAC play strong despite losing Bubba Walther. Expect to see Akron battle for the MAC East title along with Buffalo and Ohio.

#4 - Northern Illinois	6-3	2t	28	RPI #30 - The loss to North Dakota State is not terrible, but does hurt NIU's ranking. The Huskies have proven that they can beat anyone in the MAC on any given night; now it's just time to take care of business.

#5 - Toledo	7-2	5t	23	RPI #113 - The Rockets enter MAC play with 4 straight wins overall and a 7-1 OOC record. Expect Northern Illinois and Toledo to battle for the MAC West title with the rest of the West in the distance.

#6 - Miami	4-5	5t	21	RPI #102 - The RedHawks enter conference play with four straight losses; all to RPI Top 100 teams. Tuesday night @ NIU will not be any easier, but home games against EMU and CMU will be welcomed.

#7 - Kent State	6-5	7t	18	RPI #190 - At 6-5 entering conference play, the Golden Flashes best win this season is over Austin Peay.

#8 - Ball State	4-4	7t	15	RPI #128 - All four of BSU's losses have come to RPI Top 100 teams. Unfortunately Cardinal fans will get a heavy dose of tough opponents as Ball State opens MAC play vs. Akron, @ Ohio, @ Kent, vs. Miami and @ UB.

#9 - Western Michigan	3-7	10	6	RPI #227 - The MAC schedule appears to be very unkind to the lower West teams as the first 6 games of conference play pit the East against the West. Expect to see the East dominate over WMU, CMU, EMU and possibly Ball State.

#10 - Bowling Green	4-6	11	9	RPI #206 - Two straight OOC wins, albeit against poor competition, should send BG into conference play with a little confidence.

#11 - Eastern Michigan	3-5	9	7	RPI #291 - I cannot tell you how disappointing it was to see that the Eagles lost at then 0-14 Northern Colorado. Now 1-15, the Bears are ranked #324 and may be the worst team in Division I basketball.

#12 - Central Michigan	2-7	12	4	RPI #322 - The long year will not get any easier for the Chippewas. March 1st may be the only chance at a MAC win this year as the Chips host EMU.
